Okay it's a super old series, but I happen to remember it quite well. I don't normally remember stories this well, just like harry potter, this story caught me.

Sabriel was great, lariel was a little repetitive in terms of idea, but cool new people popped up. Aborsen was awesome.

And do post your views of it too (:

Right, everytime I go into my book store, I see these books.
My eyes get drawn towards them all the time.
But I never end up buying them.
Simply because, I have no idea what everyone else thinks of them!
Would you like to give me your views on the books?
So I can consider buying them lol

It's a fantasy novel, with a pinch of romance. It's directed at kids I should say because the romance is really brief.

I don't really know how to explain, but they have this royal bloodline which one member of the family (including relatives) will become the next abhorsen.

So Sabriel was the first: She went through a lot, fighting the bad people... Typical gd vs bad storyline, but I love the idea of charter marks. It's cool... I'mma come up with my own some day, or maybe that can be my next suggestion since HON series also incorporates marks.

Each book speaks of a different person. The last book... I can't really remember, I only remembered Sabriel writing a letter to Lariel (or was that in book two?) Sorry, has been so long since I last read it, it's getting hazy. I only remember images from the book.

I suggest you buy one at a time. Buying all just wears your enthusiasm. I plan on getting across the wall and old kingdom series.

Hmm, Ok.
Which ones the first one then? Abhorsen or Sabriel?
I'll be able to buy it on Thursday =]
