Who knew Disney channel chicks could write?
And here I thought they'd all get stuck in jail *cough*Lohan*cough*
But according to the back flap, she's all humanitarian and stuff. She's supposed to be a really big influence...(a GOOD one)
Anyway, the book was weird. But I mean like that good weird. The tale she told was just incredible. I had no idea where it was going to go until the last chapter. Not like crazy bad or random plot, but she really knew how to keep you captivated. I couldn't put it down.
It was really interesting how she weaved it all together in the end. And (I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad about this) she's made it as to where she has to write a sequel or the story will just be left hanging. I haven't looked it up...Since the book JUST came out. But I got it for Christmas because we were off school and I saw Hilary Duff on Regis and Kelly talking about her husband who likes to smash people (a.k.a he plays hockey), her awesome eco efforts, and her new book that was contemporary young adult fantasy/fiction and was like all WTC!?!? and HAD to check it out....

The Dark Guardian series by Rachel Hawthorne
I love the series.
It's amazing.
It's simply, captivating.
Hahahaha, just to leak some spoilers, it's a series about shifters, you know like the wolves in Twilight? But instead of having the existence of vampires or fighting for a human's love, this book gives us a deeper insight on shapeshifters. They have a clan for it! I mean, like a village for shapeshifters and scientists hunting them. And they tattoed their mate's name on their back, It's very hard for me to summarized because I sucked at it, hahaha.
My rant is also over. Next!
