| Do You Even See Me Day after day Week after week I stand there and stare But you don’t seem to care Do you even see me
Day after day Class after class I sit there and hope That one-day we could be But you don’t think of me Do you even see me
Day after day Hour after hour I wish you could know How I truly feel But you just need a friend Someone till the end Do you even see me
Day after day Time passes by I long for this thing– This impossible dream But will you still be there When reality takes its tole Do you even see me
I don’t think so.

| Does Anyone Really Care You say you really care So we sit there and share All of who we are But are you really there
Day by day Hour by hour We keep coming back No one ever thought to pack
But then you came no more As if we were a bore She stole you from our clasp With her wicked grasp
We thought you were different But the truth is still the same We were just a phase That passed by in a haze
You say you really care But do you really dare I guess the answer is no So we just sit and watch the show
No one ever really cares

| Suicide Isn't An Option I have a friend Who longs for the end But what does he know If only it was just for show
He says go away That there is no reason to stay But I wish he could see What he means to me
I have tried to make him take flight Though he would rather stay and fight But he doesn’t see that he can only loose How I wish he didn't have to choose
I have a friend Who longs for the end To bad that he cant see All that he could be
Just remember a choice is a choice, no going back and some are permanent. so please don't go for I fear I will follow.

| Should You Really Hope WHY do I feel so alone You were sitting here next to me But mind has done all but flown Don’t just let me be
EVERYTHING I do I did for you Though you just shook your head And then went off to bed
WAS I thrown out like an old scone All I can do is cry Yet away my life has blown Dare I even try
MY time is here But you don’t seem to care I pick up the blade And sit here in the shade
LIFE is meaningless When things are mean-less Have you left anything of substance No so why bother with sustenance
NOW is they end Though I don’t know how to fend You turned your back So I chose to pack
IS there a point anymore For I wish to be nevermore Cant you see the obvious Your approval was all there is
GONE is the joy Now don’t be coy Away is my will Just like a bill
FOREVER is long But the lies are longer You gave up on me And didn’t want to see
GOODBYE to you I’ll just shoo This was the end So I take my eternal bed
I WISH YOU COULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD ME OR EVEN LISTENED BUT BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T I AM DEAD.

| I Promised... I promise to not cut or die And this for sure is not a lie Oh what to do but sit and cry I care for you, do you for I
I promised to find my way To not let me be led astray This is no small task to sway I need you, but you never stay
I promised I would take that bite So you stayed to make sure I might One small word did start a fight I sit and stare at you in spite
I promised you that I'd stay true Though you did not come through Day by day I wait in que Longing to be near to you
I promise, I promised it all for you.

| *Written in for my beloved Grandmother, may she rest in peace now*
Through Her Eyes to My Soul Sitting, sitting, always staring Searching for something deep bellow Reaching, reaching, but never seeing What is it that doth bother you so
Of in the distance I see a flicker You gaze is focusing in much quicker Twirling, twirling, I see you now Not you but a girl from long ago
Your eyes are like windows Shining with a mighty bright light It brings me such joy to see what you might That girl there dancing, her dress in a swirl
You turn your head Almost afraid to remember Running, running, your memories all a quiver Hush now just rest your head
Does it hurt to remember These scenes of long ago People laughing joyously Ladies lounging under trees
The years have gone by Times have grown hard A life come undone And one waiting to be begun
So lay back your head Rest your weary eyes Take one last breath For this is goodbye

| Bellow the Surface Strange, yet funny Clear, yet muddy A world in shambles Her fear she gambles
Strength is her weakness The shadows her safe Change be the enemy Her stability does make
A constant once found Will crumble away Her puppeteer her master His power all around
Danger in numbers She's safer alone Pain only hurts When it is the unknown
Our world is quite strange The little things funny Purpose be clear Though Intentions are muddy
She's someone who runs The truth unbearable Strong she may seem But a child within
She'll run through her tears Never knowing where to turn A slip and she stumbles To her destination unknown.

| The Lost One's Tale I spiral up Then tumble down The climb is high My fall be great
For every leap forward My feet run back Rewards are welcome Though disappointment doesn't lack
My home is a cave cold and empty My friends found in darkness Pain still lingers in the air
A family long lost Their child forgotten Forsaken by most The whispers her host
Shadows do beckon The night be her world People come unwanted Their true colors have shown
Few are found worthy They, she lets in One turns away Taking the secrets from within
Troubled she runs Hurt she breaks down Dreams turn to nightmares Fear all around
Two are left standing Foundations are caving Family once gone Returns to her pieces
The mother a monster The father a flake The brothers hold grudges The sister no face
Where is their baby What have they lost With their backs turned so long Her changes their cost
They dwell and debate Should they accept her so late The majority say no Her father is overruled
Time has gone on And no one got through Some feel forgotten But this is not true
Others act as masters Through her naivety she's there puppet Confused and manipulated Bitter she becomes
Through anger she'll grow Her resentment is strength Years of enslavement A stubborn will makes
Her deserter returns But the words spoken Simply fall on deaf ears Not that she's mad, just betrayed
So long spent alone The father in the background Now fights for her rights forgiveness is granted, he she lets in
Truths are revealed Fake be the flake For his heart was still true What once was thought lost has now been restored
For ages this child has wandered in darkness, her true self hidden to keep her safe. Those she let in often hurt her, a family full of lies felt like her murder. A life falls to pieces, the world carries on, though all it took was the love of another. She has found a safe house, her father her only family, And now at last she may let her story end...

| What Lies Within Daughter of Dark Oh, where is your master The chains on your heart Are Closing in faster
Angel of Light Look what you’ve lost Losing this fight Her freedom your cost
Creature of Black With greed from your past Delicate and frail Your claws are her cell
Anger once ignored Bitterness does breed Kindness makes bored The monster it feeds
Slowly he grows Stealthy his ways Through shadows he flows Destruction he sows
This day always sunny Its night has come early Clouds swallow stars His weakness show sparks

| Tides of Change life is but a cruel joke the unsuspecting it waits to choke when you think you’ve got it right it falls apart out of smite
people come and then they go following life’s gentle flow so now I must sit and ask why cling on to ones past
for some its fear and others its greed but me, I want it far from here so from it to finally be freed
many dreams were created but most have been destroyed the reality of the world with our minds has toyed
so gather what’s left the ruins of soul link them together and away we may sail

| All It Takes A single word One wrong glance A life built strong Came crumbling down
What seems so little Will hurt so much Such simple things Hold such weighty power
Your laughter so loud Feeds pain so deep The half muttered phrases Bringing blood that seeps
World of grey World of red This world of colors Has fallen dark
People wear masks The cracks like poison Once they’re seen Devour one and all
A cold heart A cruel justice The building blocks To a shaking foundation
Tears are falling Trails that sparkle Eyes of glass Show a shadowy past

| *written for my best friend because she needed to know that someone out there saw what was happening and cared.*
The Girl With Nothing Left to Lose She who is strong Defender of meek One full of courage Now so tender and small
Oh what have they done Taken your spirit Your seams all undone Foundations crumble down
They wall her in Chain down her heart Creating a prison Which will not fall down
Her cell is her tomb Locked door with no key Silence she’ll sit in To reminisce ‘bout him
Emotions gone rabid From pain that she feels The river of tears Her anger and fears
A mask she does wear Her shroud made of lies The smiles we all see Fragile as butterflies
Her hero the fool She be his drug This happiness earned Carries a double edge
Anarchy breaks lose Divine Chaos makes order Chance turns to reality The Asylum her new life.

| Words From the Well Oh empty head Full of empty thoughts The great heavy heart Spewing heavy words
Walls falling down Wait, quick, stop! Grab up the ropes Hurry tie them tight
Anchors away! Ship set assail Fair winds, smooth seas Calm before the storm
Sitting and staring Shores of now Rock gives way Welcome tides of then

| thanks for the comment. ya i kno they're long and all but i tend to get sucked under when i write and its hard to stop myself until my heart says there are no more words to add.
as for your own work. i think its wonderful really. and neer judge against someone elses because there is no one else who is you and who will right the same way you do. its something that we all hold unique to ourselves and to doubt our own work is to take a stab at our own self. and it is never good to do such a thing.

| *this one is actually a beat poem so its all about how its read aloud, which is why it looks a little funky*
Hide the children, put out the lights Lock the doors, seal the windows Do what it takes
Hide away Hide from the SAFETY, from PROGRESS, from HELP Hide from the foolish men pulling the strings.
Pup-pets of society:
RADIO broadcasts, TELEVISION signals tw-isting minds and warp…….ing thoughts
Hiding facts and selling lies
Telling me what to do, what to think, what to buy
Speaking of a fight Free-DUMB: .......digger of graves
They steal my voice, Turn around its ok Stab you in the back in the name of change Robbing me of my dreams, eating away at my heart. Destroying my truth in place of their own.
I cry my grievances, demand justices, all to deaf ears.
The judge, the jury, the court, its all theirs What they don’t already own they take.
Past? .......Erase it Present? .......Ignore it Future .......Blin-Dead
Subliminal messages and mass hypnosis control the country Nation in ruins, so simply don’t look.
