| Emptyness
My spirit’s breaking While heart shatters A million and one pieces And none of them match
wrapped in gauze Personality fading away Chained down mind Empty for eternity
the angry words spewing bleeding through clenched teeth eyes are flooding again tears fall in a thunderous rage

| A Test of Time
The first a breeze Time goes by No one has a care Happy as can be My Prince & Me
The second is peaceful Life crawls by With the pulse of the dead A rough patch to travel My Knight & Me
The third a storm Blood Boils Picking up the pace Going under My Sir & Me
The fourth is full of heartache Everything stands still Don’t know what to do Or Where to turn My deceiver & Me

| His Call to Action
Be a man Face the fight Take a stand See the light
The time has come All that has happened Can’t be undone Only a fool would run
Sure, talking’s just fine But words have run dry Round & Round things have gone Till day is done
But I’m tired of waiting Through with the silence The Loneliness, emptiness Through sulking in darkness
The lie was a burn Broken dates like knives Fights cut deep All Blood tears
It’s time to decide Before a soul dies The forsaken heart Devoid of hope

| Never Enough
Not good enough, not good enough. Retarded. Stupid. Wrong. Worthless. Not good enough, not good enough.
Foul words spinning around. Why bother. Loser Not worth it. Waste. Foul thoughts eating away.
Losing hope, spirit crushed. A constant banter. Assaulting my ears. Spirit losing, hope crushed.
Eating foul thoughts away. Spinning foul words around. Never enough, no. Not good Enough.

| The Lies a Mother Tells
Mirror, Mirror on the wall Ancient voices chanting Long forgotten words of power Childhood dreams come to life Society's hidden shallow standards
Once upon a time Dreams were in our reach Magical adventures everywhere Till the world lost it's heart Humanity ceasing to be humane
To wish upon a star A shining ray of hope Each child's secret desires Whispered into the night Their words lost to the darkness
Waiting for true love's frist kiss The long sought after treasure A magical moment made of dreams Legend from the past Emotions to deep for mankind to fathom
Happily ever after Stop! Wait, rewind. Perhaps in a utopia But the real world is cruel Fairytales are just the lies our mothers feel us

Failed to Be
Lies = Betrayal Broken Promises = Trust Issues
Parents are suppose to love you no matter what, suppose to want you in their lives, suppose to catch you when you fall, suppose to put their family first.
Daddy lied to me again, he broke another promise, he blew me off like I was nothing, he chose his friends over his daughter. He asked me to not come see him this weekend or the next and then he complains of how little we see each other.
Daddy promised this would never happen again, he preaches integrity but doesn’t show any, he has shown me how to lose faith, he has shown me how to fall when I need a safety net, but most of all he has shown me how to stand on my own.
Your family is suppose to be the one thing you can count on, suppose be there when you need them, suppose to not judge you unfairly, suppose to be your safe haven, suppose to be the people you run to when you need a hug, and this is what mine has fails to be. I liked this a lot. although i haven't gone through this, but the pain, grief, agony and despair... every bit of sorrow extends out and grabs the reader.pretty pretty... but it's really sad... If that happens to be your life, I hope you can embrace it (: for only accepting and embracing can let you walk further. Well as we grow, we have more problems in life... so yeah... those parents who don't know how to relief stress the right way, the just built it up within themselves and pour it on anyone around them. If you can live with such a person in your life, you're the true winner of this 'act'. as to why i say it's an 'act', it's because we all pull on masks too often to count and we learn to fake identities... doesn't that sound like actors and actresses? they have their own personality, but they act as the character they're portraying. We're all acting in this massive production, you, me, our families, friends, teachers, classmates, acquaintances of all walks of life, even strangers, they are all playing in this film. We're all the main actors and actresses, just that we are not being controlled, we've the freedom to control what we want to do in the next storyboard. (alright i'm drifting from point) so back at it, all i wish is that you can walk out of this. (all the better if you can walk out of it alone, it shows you're strong enough.) GANBATTE!

I'm still dealing with it. These are the words of my one of my best friends/room mate and his gf (who is my other best friend) and I can't seem to get the old him back. this is all we hear anymore

| Awww, don't be depressed alright? The most important person in your life that's worth all your time, effort, money, brain cells, everything you own, is none others but yourself (: So if you can afford to love yourself or can't afford to keep yourself happy, don't try to make others happy. You'll end up screwing up your own life further. So just make yourself happy. In fact, it's okay not to have friends, because you're your best friend (: | |
