Dreamer's Poetry

Yes, it's like I suffered from multiple personalities disorder. Okay, maybe 'Multiple Perspective disorder'....I can be the reader, the critic, the writer all in one time. But mostly it's my heart ruling out the other two. So I just let myself lay back and enjoy the book. It's very confusing actually, but I don't find it scary, I find iit....confusing. Very Very confusing.

I'm angry at my brother, that's me. I'm scolding my brother. That's my heart ruling out. But I'm crying, that's me feeling very emotional. But at the back of my head, I was putting myself in his shoes. Why would he do that? Why?

I suppose feeling Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at the same time is very hard to cope, but mostly I feel confused, and very complicated.

err... who is dr jekyll and mr hyde? no idea who they are.

actually not the same as what you're saying. you say one of them is you. but i see that NONE of them is me! that's what's scary. it's like... it's like they all are not me, but then and again, they all are! it's freaky! Its like i see a hint of what i think i am in every mind. well that's because it's me, no? but the point is... if they're all me... o to ka jo? (what should i do?) i can't pick any one of them and say 'this is me', because they all are... but i can;'t let all of them run wild like that! it's like, ZOMG. I feel like i'm going crazy on the inside... and most of all there's this outer piece of me... that is almost plastic! ZOMG. it's like ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG. I'm a freaky freak! O:

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a literature study we had in school, about a scientist who secretly yearned to have a taste of the 'evil' side, so he created a chemical which could transfrom him into Mr. Hyde, a sinister heartless monster.

What you meant was all those 'perspective', they are not you?

no. they are all separate minds, that resembles a little of me. it's like you know... haiz... that's why i wrote my story 'door'... because all those characters.. actually, they're a part of me... past or present...

That's very complicated, and when you put it that way, it do sounds creepy.

But yeah, i'm fine with it now...

school reopens on the 4th of jan... i won't be coming on anymore... when it reopens... and for the next few days, i'd probably come on for awhile only.

how about swapping msn? because i go on msn everyday. (my parents don't allow me to go to forums.. but msn... uhh... i can tell them i'm completing projects/ doing hw etc ><)

no prob, but I'm not really active in MSN as I am in forums, haha! I won't be on that frequent too, school starts on 3rd (supposingly tomorrow but I got another day off, yea!) so I'm only on on thursdays and Fridays Weekends...lol

yeah sure. but she's living on the other side of the globe and i won't be able to talk to her... because i'm either asleep or she would be asleep. because it's 5am for her when it's 5pm for us, exactly 12hrs.

Eclipse - Brillaint one Ger! I love love love it! It's simple yet everything came out direct, and the first line of every stanza produced a great effect when I read them, it's soo.....enticing! LOL

He came - lol, not to be a buzzkill but I think you posted this before, haha...

JSO: This is soo inspirational, honestly! You wrote the poem as if they were names of people, captive of fear, lover of endurnance, Prisoner of utilization, omg, this is brilliant!

Eclipse: Wow! you finally used another vocab other than 'amazing' >< okay, just joking. I can't remember why I wrote it.

As you can see, I used to be more self-indulged: in the sense, wallowing up in self-pity. Now I look back and see how pathetic that is >> stupid me to have felt that way.

JSO: This poem was written when I was solo-ing the literature project. it runs on the same idea as 'Going Solo' (no idea if i've posted this before). I was seriously pissed off at how they were neglecting their duties etc. But i still did everything in the end. And as much a perfectionist as I was, I clocked about 40hrs on the project altogether. To pull together a project which consisted of a ppt, script and write-up (report).

Again, no idea if i've posted this before, but I'd like to PROUDLY say it LOUDLY, that this is not the me now (:

A/N: Hmm... What can I say about this....? Well It's short enough to show how difficult it was for me to lengthen it. I made my way to the third line and that was all. I could think of nothing else, so I fitted 'nothing ever seems to be good enough'. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give suggestions as to how I can continue this write from the third line onwards.

And as the title suggests, I don't know what I'm trying to convey here, myself, nor do I have the least idea of what is going on in my mind when i was doing the poem.

Alright, I've been slacking off really. Making mistakes of reposting the same thing over... and most of all, posting poems that I wrote ages ago. Sorry, but I promise it will get more original and fresh after my O levels are over. I know it sounds distant and pretty far now, but no! the results for last year's exams are coming out! Untitled, as you pointed out, doesn't seemed to convey any particular meaning therefore making it hard to connect. Your original line was quite good but I don't really get this line 'stars twinkles the secrets before twilight.'....

Um, if I were to replace it, I would put something like,
'The fact of life is tough' Because in the first few lines you wrote it was about two different things being compared, or as how I see it so I figured something like that.

Stars twinkling secrets before twilight... I would say I believe. I believe that I wrote that to tell people that we should stop comparing with each other, and look up at the night sky. Watch as the stars twinkle and burn away, and appreciate what we're given. There are so many meanings to it I can think of actually... It could also be because I wanted to tell others that we should stop comparing, and end up regretting that we're not good enough or comparing and demoralizing/ degrading ourselves. Look at the night sky, the stars twinkles and dims away. They're telling us something silently, conveying to us a message about living life to the fullest. Even if each of them is only a small star in the sky, and there are billions, millions, trillions, gazillions of other stars that look the same to our naked eye when we look up to the starry night sky, but each star only lives once, once they burn out, they're gone and forgotten by all. But do they decide that they don't twinkle? Protect itself from dying out? No, they just twinkle and twinkle, bringing beauty to our otherwise plain night sky, until they loose their heat and die.

Okay I'm just speculating. Like I've mentioned, I've no idea why I wrote that. But yeah, I'd say that's my first response to your query (what you didn't understand of that line). To be honest, I don't normally remember the reason I wrote my poems or the exact emotions I was trying to convey through them, and there are also quite a few like this poem, I have no idea what I was thinking about when I wrote them.

I tried placing your line into the poem. It jams the poem, too little syllables. I changed the words and swapped them around, and they sound out of place as well. O: I'll try experimenting around... When I Am Back. >< (says me, the procrastinator).

No biggie, it's your poem;) Honestly I had a hard time comprehending untitled, maybe because I'm a slow learner in that department, haha. So sorry if I hadn;t been any help! XD Maybe you came up with a better alternative??

Hey, it's school time so weekends are the only time we're off (or me, mostly)...sigh....sports, studies=me being lazy. Can't wait for next weekend.
